Beyond Traditional Therapy
My journey to becoming a therapist is anything but ordinary. I spent two decades immersed in theater as an actor and Shakespeare professor, witnessing firsthand the profound impact of storytelling and human connection. Along this journey, I also developed a deep personal and professional connection to body-based therapies, recognizing their profound role in shaping our experiences and narratives. This unique blend of artistic background, somatic understanding, and therapeutic training informs my approach to helping others heal and grow.
Your Story, Your Strength
I believe in a strength-based, narrative approach to therapy with somatic practices and mindfulness techniques. I believe therapy should be a safe space where you can be yourself, explore your challenges, and discover your inner strength. We'll work side-by-side to understand what's going on in your life and tap into the resilience you already have. We'll focus on what matters to you, not what society says you should be. We'll explore how your experiences affect you—both physically and mentally—so you can build a life that feels true to who you are.
